Uncommon sense for entrepreneurs

Came across this great video of Derek Sivers – who started CD Baby out of a bedroom and sold 10 years later for $22M. Great, uncommon sense advice for any entrepreneur – including medtech (the playlist includes 8 short videos):

The playlist is choc-full of really useful tips. Ones that really stood out for me are:

  • Keep it simple. Just do one thing well.
  • Version 0.1 (or baby steps)
  • Ideas vs Execution (ideas are a multiplier, without execution they’re nothing)
  • Humanize your offering – (pizza anyone?)

(PS. This doesn’t follow my normal posting style, but found the content so simple yet powerful I had to share.)
